What ages do you offer classes for?
Movement Collective welcomes dancers of every age, from babies to adults:
  • Babies & caregivers: Babywearing Ballet, where a caregiver dances with their little one snuggled safely close.
  • Early childhood (ages 3–8): Fairytale, Storybook, and Primary Ballet.
  • Youth (ages 10–15): Ballet Fundamentals.
  • Teens & pre-professional: Levels A, B & C (by placement) and the Pre-Professional program (by audition).
  • Adults (18+): Adult Ballet, plus Ballet LAB (Pilates & yoga).
See the full lineup with days and times on the Explore Our Classes page.
How do I enroll my dancer?
Most classes enroll online: browse the Explore Our Classes page and reserve your dancer's spot in a few clicks. A few programs have an extra step first:
  • Primary Ballet enrolls as two classes: a weekly technique day (Tuesday or Saturday) plus the required Thursday Style class.
  • Levels A, B & C are assigned by placement. Interested dancers come take a placement class so we can find the right level.
  • The Pre-Professional program is by audition. You are welcome to come take a class with us during the August Collective.
For the placement and audition programs, use the "I'm Interested" button on the class and we will reach out to set up the next step.
When does the fall semester begin?
The fall season starts the week of August 24 and runs through the week of December 14, 2026.
What should my dancer wear to class?
Dancers wear proper ballet attire and shoes to every class, with hair neatly secured (a bun is required for ballet). Please leave excessive jewelry, smartwatches, and wearable tech at home. If a dancer forgets their ballet shoes, they can rent a pair from the front desk for a small fee, which keeps every dancer safe. Specific dress code guidelines for each level are shared when you enroll. Both shops are stocked with our studio's required items, so you can outfit your dancer with confidence.
Do you offer drop-in or trial classes?
Drop-in classes are available for our adult program only. For youth and pre-professional dancers, the first visit is a placement class (or an audition for the Pre-Professional level). Have questions? Reach the studio directly at (980) 236-8257, or .
Can I watch my dancer's class?
To keep the studio focused, classes are generally closed to observation. We schedule designated observation opportunities throughout the year so families can see their dancer's progress.
What is your attendance policy?
Consistency is essential in ballet training. Dancers are expected to attend all scheduled classes for their level, and absences should be communicated in advance whenever possible. Excessive absences may affect a dancer's progression or placement.
What should we know about arrival and studio etiquette?
Dancers should arrive early to warm up and prepare, both physically and mentally, before class. Late arrivals may be asked to observe if entering would disrupt the class, and dancers are dismissed at the scheduled end time, so please plan for a timely pickup. Inside the studio, only water is permitted (no food or other drinks), and phones and personal devices stay outside the classroom.
How does tuition and payment work?
Single adult classes are paid in full at the time of booking. Semester enrollments can be paid in full or in monthly installments. You choose your payment option when you register online.
